Articles & Books

In this site we include reviews of articles, research and books that relate to each of the forensic nursing specialties listed on the left index. They can be either reviews of articles or original articles. We hope to provide members with comments and synthesis of literature to promote evidence based practice. Members and the public are encouraged to submit reviews to the webmaster for posting.

Guidelines for Submission of a Review

a) Article Review

Include the following and submit to webmaster (see "contact us"):

• all author, title, journal information and any links if articles is available online (check Google Scholar).
• reviewer name and credentials
• summary of article - do not just copy online abstract as this is copyright violation
• review of article - strengths, weaknesses and application to clinical practice.

b) Original Articles

Members wishing to post an original article to site should include:

• article in either pdf or Word format
• a statement that Forensic Nurses' Society can post the article and that the author(s) have original copyrights to the article
• contact information for authors

Authors and researchers are encouraged to submit their reviews or original articles to this site. Please submit to the President/webmaster, Cathy Carter-Snell at cartersnell@shaw.ca
