President-Elect: 2012-2015 (1 yr president elect, 1 yr president,
1 yr past-president)
Treasurer: 2012-2014

members by our editor Linda Reimer-Cossar. Feel free to print,

Meetings We currently meet via teleconference on the 2nd Wed of each month
at 8:30 Pacific (11:30 Eastern). All calls are conducted using

Bylaws
The current bylaws were passed in Sept 2010 and accepted
by the members at that time (bylaws)
Canadian Nurses' Association
(CNA)
We are a member of the Associate, Affiliate and Emerging
(AAE) interest groups of the Canadian Nurses' Association (CNA)
as of July
2007. Part of these requirements include that at least half
of our members are members of CNA, that we have representation
of
at least
four
provinces.
We provide CNA with feedback on issues of interest to FNSC (e.g.
violence, violence prevention) and they provide us access to other
AAE groups and resources for communication. We will be exploring
options for forensic nursing certification with CNA as part of
our strategic planning.
